Help Us Grow Food. Grow Community. Grow Impact.

We’re looking for an experienced gardener to lead our charity allotment, growing fresh fruit and vegetables to support our food bank and bringing volunteers together through hands-on food growing.

This is more than gardening — it’s about tackling food insecurity, building skills, and creating a thriving community space.

📅 12-month commission (initially) – with potential to extend
⏰ 16 hours per week
💷 £12,000 for the year
💼 Self-employed / commissioned basis

You’ll:
🌿 Plan and manage seasonal growing
🌿 Develop and improve the allotment space
🌿 Support and encourage volunteers
🌿 Help us maximise produce for the food bank

You’ll need:
✔ Proven experience in food growing / allotment management
✔ Confidence working alongside volunteers
✔ Appropriate insurance (incl. Public Liability)
✔ To operate on a self-employed basis (responsible for your own tax & NI)

This is a commissioned opportunity, not an employed role.

If you’re passionate about growing food and making a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
