We had an amazing donation last week and another today from this amazing team .
“Football For Foodbanks is a community football group raising money for foodbanks across Manchester through casual weekly sessions and charity matches. Players of all abilities come together to play friendly 6-a-side games, with money raised beyond pitch costs going directly towards foodbank shops that support local communities. It’s a simple idea: play football, have fun, and help make sure people in our city have access to food and other essentials”
Our opponents were Newground United who have sent this:
“Newground United is a grassroots team based in Manchester, covering new ground from the roots up. We’re all about community, friendship and having fun with your mates.
We love getting involved in community projects, from fundraising with foodbanks to creating art for the football museum. It’s all about inclusivity, connecting and enjoying the beauty of the game.”
